Leadership, Organization & Governance
St. Francis Church is led by a dedicated team of clergy and lay leaders committed to serving our congregation and fulfilling our mission with integrity, transparency, and Christ-centered values.
Rector
Spiritual leader of the parish with responsibility for worship, pastoral care, and overall ministry. Provides guidance and sacramental leadership to our community.
Associate Priest
Assists with worship services, pastoral visits, and ministry coordination. Focuses on youth engagement and community outreach initiatives.
Senior Warden
Oversees church property and finances in partnership with the Rector. Manages maintenance projects and long-term facility planning.
Junior Warden
Assists with property matters and coordinates lay ministry initiatives. Oversees volunteer scheduling and event coordination.
Treasurer
Manages finances, budgets, and financial accountability. Ensures transparent financial reporting and responsible stewardship of resources.
Alternate Warden
Supports both Senior and Junior Wardens in their duties. Acts as a liaison between the vestry and various ministry committees.
Stewardship Coordinator
Leads the church's stewardship program, encouraging generous giving of time, talent, and treasure. Organizes annual pledge campaigns and educates members on biblical giving principles.
Social Development Coordinator
Oversees programs addressing community needs such as food security, counseling services, and skills development workshops for vulnerable members of our community.
Caretaker
Ensures our church facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Coordinates repairs, manages supplies, and prepares spaces for worship services and events.
Community Outreach Coordinator
Coordinates charitable programs and community service initiatives, building bridges between the church and the wider Mamelodi West community.
